Growing Through The Seasons: Gardening Workshops

Yellow Farmhouse and Stone Acres farmers will help you create a blueprint for your beds, plan for produce throughout the growing season, manage weeds and pests sustainably, cultivate a bounty of tomatoes, build soil health, and put your garden to rest in the fall.
All experience levels are welcome!
$35 per workshop.

Orchard to Glass: Autumn Apple Cocktail Class
with Anthony Caporale

Join Yellow Farmhouse educators for a walk in the Stone Acres apple orchard, where you’ll taste heirloom varieties. Then, gather at the Yellow Farmhouse with acclaimed mixologist Anthony Caporale and craft apple-based cocktails with a selection of fine spirits provided by Spencer & Lynn Wine and Spirit Merchants.
Enjoy award-winning cheeses from Mystic Cheese Company and apple pastries from Meryl & Masa. Take home an apple simple syrup and cocktail recipes to keep the fun going at home!

with Meryl + Masa

Join Stonington’s beloved chefs Jess Spivey and Jorge Baldiviezo, owners of Stonington’s celebrated Meryl+Masa Sourdough Bakery and Latin Eatery, in their new kitchen for a hands-on baking class that showcases the incredible versatility of autumn's favorite fruit.

Paper Flowers Studio: Amaryllis Bouquets
with Loving Paperwhites

Give yourself the gift of an evening of creativity in this hands-on workshop, where you'll learn the art of crafting crepe paper into colorful amaryllis—those dramatic, show-stopping blooms that define winter elegance.
Under Loving Paperwhites' owner Debra Wood's expert guidance, you'll master the delicate techniques of cutting, shaping, and assembling crepe paper into lifelike petals. By evening's end, you will have created an amaryllis bouquet that's yours to keep, display, and admire long after fresh flowers would have faded.
Enjoy thoughtfully prepared canapes and settle into an evening that feels like a gift to yourself during the busiest season. No experience necessary—just bring yourself, your friends and your creativity.
