Learn to safely and sustainably forage for your wild plants and mushrooms! CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers and forager and chef Vinny Crotta will teach us how to identify and utilize spring fungi and plants positively.
We will taste Chaga tea and a foraged snack and then take a 45-minute walk to practice plant and mushroom ID skills.
25% of the proceeds of this workshop will go towards a donation to the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center, whose goal is to connect people to where their food comes from and make a local, sustainable food system accessible to all.
Registration is $35 per person.
Note: This event will focus on identifying and locating wild mushrooms, not collecting them. This event will take place outside rain or shine.
